David is our Associate based in the UK. A Chartered Occupational & Coaching Psychologist, he has been coaching and consulting to senior leaders and their teams as well as developing and supervising business performance coaches for over 30 years. And now serves as Chair of the British Psychological Society’s Coaching Psychology Group. He enables exceptional performance by helping clients build learning organisations, create truly adaptable teams and develop transformational leaders. Coaching is the golden thread which runs through all his activities. David works with senior leaders and their teams to increase their leadership capability to bring about change, improve business performance and enhance their own well-being. In 1997 David helped establish Myles Downey’s School of Coaching, at the time the leading coach-training organisation in Europe. David was Managing Director of the School from 1999-2003. He was also a founder Board Member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), which still sets standards for coaching and coach development in Europe. David was an Associate for the Centre for Creative Leadership in Brussels for several years and a long-standing coach for the NHS Leadership Academy, for CEOs, Directors and Boards. Relevant qualifications include BA (Hons.) London University; MBA Nottingham University; MSc Occupational Psychology Birkbeck, University of London; Chartered Occupational Psychologist (BPS); Certificate in Performance Coaching (University of Strathclyde), is a Team Learning Master Coach and a Trained Coaching Supervisor (Bath Consultancy Group). He is certified to use a wide range of diagnostic and personality instruments including Aston ATPI, TMSDI, FIRO B, MBTI, Primary Colours Leadership Toolkit (360° and NEO) and CCL’s Suite of 360° profiles. |
